Our ten-acre tropical resort is home to beautiful native gardens, birdlife, butterflies and other local wildlife. Protecting this environment is an important part of our everyday operations.
Some of our initiatives include:
- Hotel-quality pillows manufactured from recycled plastic bottles through Vendella Australia.
- Maintaining mature tropical gardens that provide natural shade, support biodiversity and contribute to cooling the resort environment.
- Encouraging guests to minimise waste and respect local wildlife during their stay.
- Progressive replacement of resort lighting with energy-efficient LED lighting.
- Purchasing locally wherever practical to reduce transport distances while supporting regional businesses.
- Partnering with suppliers who demonstrate their own sustainability initiatives, including Alsco Cairns, whose commercial laundry facility operates a 233 kW solar energy system.

Respecting Culture
Paradise Links Resort proudly acknowledges the Kuku Yalanji people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live and work.
We encourage guests to discover and respect the region's rich Indigenous culture by visiting the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre, learning about Country and experiencing one of Australia's oldest living cultures.
